Production I.G. has begun negations with Hollywood studios to produce a live action Ghost in the Shell.
Ghost in the Shell is a popular manga that has been made into an animated series and three movies.
It is a futuristic cyberpunk thriller which explores the ethical and philosophical questions surrounding the widespread merging of humanity with technology.
Very few anime or manga series have been successfully made into live action films; if this project is successful, it will be interesting to see what other properties might be produced as well. However, there's a very long road between negotiations and a quality movie.

GHOST IN THE SHELL,NINJA SCROLL.
Just to make a statement,if Hollywood makes Ghost In The Shell movie they need to do right from the anime series and try to stay true.
Threshold will be doing Ninja Scroll in the near future,Threshold CEO Larry Kasanoff is set to work on the series with Mortal Kombat backflip martial arts moves,sword fights and special effects.

Not Hollywood for gods sake! I know they'll screw it up.
If their going to make a movie, an Idea Im really on the fence about anyway, it NEEDS to be japanese.
