Will the real Alan Spaulding please stand up?

Gus' ghost, in Alan's head or wallet?
Will the real Alan Spaulding please stand up? This week on Guiding Light was a banner one for Alan. First, with Grady Foley getting off on Tammy Winslow's hit-and-run murder, the charges were dropped against him. Next, Dina decided to join forces with him when she had the last straw with Bill, who axed her party. Lizzie said it all when she commented that she saw the old Alan. I, for one, think that the Gus' ghost visions are a scam. Alan has always been brilliant, and this would be his best trick ever. I even think he faked fainting with Bill, just to rope him in. However, with Lizzie going to the DA, he could be in for some trouble, but to me it seems superficial.

It looks like Cassie will be back to losing it with the Foley verdict, which will make the show more interesting. The writing's been a little off the past year and the show was starting to become boring again. Now they're getting back to the show's roots, high drama and business wars. Dina and Bill are the new Alan and Alexandra. Cassie could become as crazy as Annie Dutton.

I hope Dina and Mallet get back together. Even though the actors playing Mallet and Marina are together in real life, I don't like their chemistry on the show. Guiding Light appears  to be setting up Lizzie and Bill as the next super couple. Unfortunately on several websites I still see Gus and Harley, the actors gone and now on All My Children. Please decide on a new couple before people get too disgusted.

Will Alan win? Bet on it. Even Jeffrey agrees.
