Well-known rapper and actor Nelly has landed a part on CSI: NY. Nelly, who won Grammies in 2003 and 2004, has released four albums with several number one hits. In 2005 he starred in remake of the The Longest Yard with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. 

For CSI: NY, he will play the owner of a club in a multi-episode arc for the 2008 season. Pam Veasy, executive producer of CSI: NY stated, "He's a great actor. He really stepped up."
