Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert want fans to know that they plan for their new series, Legend of the Seeker to remain faithful to the Terry Goodkind book series which is the show's inspiration.

Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert want fans to know that they plan for their new series, Legend of the Seeker to remain faithful to the Terry Goodkind book series which is the show's inspiration.

Speaking at a recent panel at Comic Con in San Diego, and again in an interview with Scifi.com, Raimi reassured fans that he and Tapert have no plans to add humor to the series the way they have with their other popular fantasy series.

Raimi and Tapert are slated to produce 22 episodes of the one hour drama for syndication.  The episodes will cover the main points of Goodkind's first book, Wizard's First Rule.
