seamless, and we look forward to incorporating this added gaming
experience into other SOE titles, as well as implementing the next
phase of features to come soon."Sony's Web site indicates that current Station Voice
™ features include:
- Talk person-to-person in game
- Chat with your party, guild, or any other group in game
- Manage group/user participation with moderator control
- Play and communicate without worrying about increased lag
- Individually mute and set volume per user
- Create automatic channels for guilds, raids and groups
Additionally, Station Voice
™ will feature "voice fonts" allowing users to modify their voice to match their character.
And here I remember when Star Wars "role playing games" involved a
Darth Vader mask, walkie-talkies and two kids beating on each other
with toy light sabers ... and we also walked uphill in the snow both
ways to get to those RPGs.
