A year later, boxsets for the UK and US have been announced
Sarah Jane Adventures Boxset DVDs
It has been almost a year since The Sarah Jane Adventures aired on CBBC, and several months since it finished its run on the Sci Fi channel. Now that the second season is almost finished filming and is already being advertised, boxset DVDs of the first season have finally been announced.
The 4-disc set will include Invasion of the Bane, the introductory episode that is already available in the UK as a standalone DVD. It will also include interviews, but no word on whether those are standalone interviews or episode commentary.
The Region 2 UK release is due in stores November 10. For some odd reason, the Region 1 US/Canada release is due October 7. No word on why the overseas fans get it first.
Speaking of things being made available to the overseas fans, the first three seasons of the new Doctor Who are now available as downloads from the American version of iTunes. UK fans have been able to download episodes from the UK iTunes all along.
