Over the weekend, more news came out from Dark Horse regarding the upcoming 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Serenity' titles. During Friday's Dark Horse panel at Wondercon, DH rep Jeremy Atkins let fans know that Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1 will ship in less than two weeks' time, amidst rumors of a delay.

"I've seen the first issue, and I can tell you that it's awesome," said Atkins. The comic will serve as a semi-canonical Season Eight for the smash hit television series, following the adventures of Buffy and her friends after the events of "Chosen."

Also confirmed was the launch of the "Serenity" 'verse comic Better Days, coming this September. As previously reported by Firefox news, the book starts with a new job so lucrative the crew can't say no.
