I've been an anime fan for 6 years now. My favorites are the Slayers series (it got me hooked), Ranma 1/2, Full Metal Panic and Love Hina. I went to Otakon (2003-2005), Manganext (06), Animenext (07), and volunteered at New York Anime Fest (07). I'm really into Harry Potter, Harry Potter fanfiction, and fantasy books like Dark Materials series. IF ANYONE IS GOING TO ANIMENEXT I'LL SEE YOU ALL THERE!
View all articles by Arthur DavidAnimation company Enoki Films is looking for a distributor and licensor to bring the newest addition to the Slayers series, Slayers Revolution, to the U.S. The new series will start airing on July 2nd in Japan and is set to be completed with 26 episodes near Spring 2009. Hopefully someone will have the sense to grab this awesome new series and bring it to North America for us huge Slayers fans, which includes me since Slayers Next is my first anime and the one that got me hooked.
In another press release by Enoki, which can be found here, gives a small summary of the planned episodes of the new series (another summary can also be found here). In Revolution all the old characters have returned.
Besides the characters Megumi Hayashibara is also back to give her amazing voice to Lina and to the opening and ending theme songs.
So any distributors and licensors who want to make a lot of money make sure to snap up this awesome anime. To fellow fans, let us hope they bring Slayers Revolution to the States very quickly.
