Universal Animation Inc., the non-profit group that organizes AnimeNext and MangaNext, has teamed up with Viz Media to show the Death Note movie to Animenext convention goers this year.  Fans of Death Note in the tri-state area that missed out on the 2 night in May special should go to the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey on June 20-22 to see a special screening of the live-action movie.

While you're at AnimeNext, check out the rest of the events too!

Animenext
chairman Carlo Darcelin said, "We're very happy that Viz chose to work with us to bring a free screening to anime fans in the tri-state area. The fact that it's the Death Note movie is just icing on the cake."

The movie will be shown only once during the convention and will be dubbed. Unless you have a friend in Japan willing to send it to you, this might be your last chance to see the movie before it gets released in the U.S. in a couple of months. Don't miss out!
