FOX Searchlight has announced they will release romantic comedy 'Waitress' on April 27.
The film, the last by director Adrienne Shelly, stars Keri Russell as a pregnant lonely housewife in a small Southern town and Nathan Fillion as her new hunky OB/gyn. The film won praise at the Sundance Film Festival in January, where FOX Searchlight optioned it. The initial theatrical release will be limited, though as the buzz around this oddball romance grows, more screens make pick it up.
