Bandai Visual USA continues to work on its Dot-Anime website, and it's gradually expanding the availability of its products in other directions as well. You can now go to their brand new shop at Amazon.com to pick up some of their DVDs, and they'll be sure to add more as the shop really gets going. There's no word yet whether they'll expand to include more than just DVDs, but if they get a lot of response to the Amazon store, it wouldn't be surprising.
On the Dot-Anime site itself, you can also purchase those DVDs, as well as manga and various merchandise (such as action figures, character cards, and t-shirts). And in the streaming section, the company has now begun to play trailers for five titles: Gunbuster vs. Diebuster: The GATTAI!! Movie, Gunbuster, Gunbuster 2, Mobile Suit Gundam: MS IGLOO, and Super Robot Wars: Original Generation - The Animation. All five of these series are among the items available for purchase on the site, so these trailers ought to whet your appetite.
In the meantime, they are still streaming first episodes of two other titles: HARUKA: Beyond the Stream of Time - A Tale of the Eight Guardians runs till June 18th, and Super Robot Wars: OG - Divine Wars goes till August 12th, with Galaxy Angel Rune coming soon.
And remember the HARUKA cels that were made available to purchase a few weeks ago? (You may remember they were the hand-crafted reproduction cels of the anime.) Well, Bandai Visual reminds us that we're down to the last call, because May 31st is the final day to order them. If you've been saving up or putting it off for some reason, time is almost up.
There's plenty to enjoy from Bandai Visual, and their products - and the places to find them - just keep expanding. And while you're visiting the Dot-Anime site, be sure to peek in on the blogs, which keep you up to date on industry happenings, what's going on in fandom, how things are in the affiliated Japanese Dot-Anime site, and other news about Bandai Visual and the online store.
