The Venezuelan network Televen TV announced it would be pulling reruns of the Simpsons from its eleven am time slot due to viewer complaints on April seventh.
The decision was reached due to frequent complaints that the show was inappropriate morning viewing for young people, a spokeswoman said. The show had been doing rather well in its time slot and was among the highest-watched programs on the network. It has been replaced on the schedule by repeats of Baywatch: Hawaii.
Televen has not announced whether reruns of the show will be returned to the schedule at a later time slot.
