Lifetime has posted a longer, snarkier, Blood Ties trailer on their Web site.

One of the hallmarks of Tanya Huff's series of vampire books is the sense of humor displayed in them. It's dark, sarcastic, and often laugh-out-loud funny. It's very reassuring to see a trailer that displays some of that trademark humor.

As I've said before, this series is one to watch. If Huff's books are successfully translated to television, Lifetime will have a hit on their hands. The trick will be successfully bridging the gap between presenting great story as a novel and showing it on TV.
