The scoop from the Ausiello Report on t.v. guide.com is that Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles (T:tSCC) are hiring directors for the show's sophomore year. However, Fox continues to maintain that there are no plans to renew the show for a second season, this is a very good sign.
 

While the Sarah Connor Chronicle’s numbers didn’t exactly terminate (pauses while readers recover from the anvillicious verb use) the competition, T:tSCC’s numbers consistently hit within the top 4 for the coveted 18-49 demographic. Additionally, T:tSCC did well in DVR timeshifting with an average improvement of over 20%.
