I've been an anime fan for 6 years now. My favorites are the Slayers series (it got me hooked), Ranma 1/2, Full Metal Panic and Love Hina. I went to Otakon (2003-2005), Manganext (06), Animenext (07), and volunteered at New York Anime Fest (07). I'm really into Harry Potter, Harry Potter fanfiction, and fantasy books like Dark Materials series. IF ANYONE IS GOING TO ANIMENEXT I'LL SEE YOU ALL THERE!

No more Anime, Drama or Asian Films

Cable television provider Comcast is shutting down the AZN Television channel due to low viewer numbers. AZN shows the most popular Asian films, dramas and anime. A few examples are anime series such Record of Lodoss Wars, Saiyuki Reload Gunlock and the Last Exile. AZN is shutting down on April 9, 2008.

Since its opening in 2005 it has gathered a small number of viewers and unfortunately did not gather anymore. There were also problems getting advertisements to be shown on the channel.

Is there anyway to get more viewers? I admit that the channel isn't well advertised though. I wish they can start an online tv network. I don't want the channel to go off the air.
