Post-apocalyptic drama has been good for the network.
Killed by ratings, resurrected by nuts,
Jericho has seen it all. Now
Broadcasting & Cable reports that the series will be coming to the SciFi Channel next month in an unusual cross-promotion move. (SciFi is linked to NBC/Universal, and has shown rebroadcasts and back episodes of Peacock genre dramas. This is the first time SciFi has picked up an Eye production.) The whole thing kicks off with a five-hour marathon on Monday, February 11th, which leads into the second series premiere on CBS the next day at 10pm Eastern. On February 18th, SciFi will begin showing episodes in their regular spot: Monday nights at 10pm.
Thomas Vitale, senior vice president of programming and original movies at SciFi Channel, said, "Jericho is a gripping science-fiction series that Sci Fi Channel is excited to add to our schedule. Thanks to the passion and persistence of its loyal viewers who saved this program from being canceled, new viewers can now experience this show for the first time on Sci Fi Channel while CBS continues the story in its second-season run starting this February."
