Brad Renfro died unexpectedly Monday night. He was 25. Renfro was found at his home Tuesday morning and pronounced dead at 9 AM local time. No cause of death has yet been established, although reports say he was drinking with friends Monday evening. An autopsy is expected later this week.
Renfro first shot to fame in the title role of Grisham adaptation "The Client." Genre fans also know him from the film adaptation of Stephen King novella "Apt Pupil," a movie in which he co-starred with Sir Ian McKellen.
Renfro had been dealing with drug and alcohol abuse problems through his life, but had sought treatment. His lawyer Richard Kaplan said, "He was working hard on his sobriety. He was doing well. He was a nice person."
He is survived by his parents.

Very talented actor. Ever see Larry Clark's "Bully" (2001)? Sad story.
