This just in: Lynda Carter is going to appear on "Smallville" on the April 12th episode, reports E! Online. She plays Chloe Sullivan's long-vanished mother; the reason for her visit will be given sometime in this week's episode.
In addition to the supercasting, the April 12th episode wll be Michael Rosenbaum's (Lex Luthor) directorial debut on the series.

Carter is by far best known for her role as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman in the 1970's series of the same name. She's since used her fame to champion women's rights in the U.S. and elsewhere. She was recently seen in the 2005 film "Sky High" as Principal Powers, who runs the high school where junior heroes learn the ropes.
