(LJ post): Our main source from the horse's mouth, the United Hollywood blog, has been suspended by its host, effectively silencing the group of writers who run it. The WGA_supporters community is urging fans to contact the VP in charge of Blogger to urge them to put United Hollywood back on the Net.
UPDATE: NBC And Hollywood Foreign Press Cancel Televised Golden Globes Hoopla; Big Scrapped In Favor Of Stripped Down News Telecast (article): Deadline Hollywood Daily has the latest news on the Golden Globes; NBC, it seems will not be broadcasting the Golden Globes, nor holding a big untelevised dinner party. Instead, the winners will be announced in a stripped-down news telecast for which the stars will not be present.
Action Item For The Week: Call Viacom & Comedy Central To Support Jon & Stephen Personally (LJ post): wga_supporters is asking people to call Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's networks to complain about the position the hosts have been forced into.

Leno, Kimmel to appear on each other's shows (article): Hollywood Insider has announced that Jimmy Kimmel and Jay Leno will be guesting on each other's shows, despite competing networks, to help get through the struggle of working with no writers.
George Clooney boycott threat to Oscars (article): Times Online reveals that actor George Clooney is inspiring his fellow actors to boycott next weekend's Golden Globes as well as next month's Oscars. In sympathy for the striking scriptwriters, stars are refusing to crss picketlines to attend awards events.
