The latest trailers for Season 2 of Torchwood confirm the rumors - series two will begin airing on BBC2 on Wednesday, January 16 at 9 p.m. This airing will be immediately followed by Torchwood Declassified, the behind-the-scenes special. It sounds as though the cut-down family friendly version will air on the following Tuesday, although I cannot confirm date or time until the official BBC Torchwood site is again unlocked for viewers outside the UK. Following the pattern from Torchwood series 1 and The Sarah Jane Adventures, this should happen on the 16th when the new season begins to air.
Overseas, BBC America will start airing the new season of Torchwood on Saturdays starting January 26, also at 9 p.m. as already announced. Other news is hard to discover from BBCA's Torchwood web page, which puts fancy effects over surfing usability and does not appear to be updated for the new season except for a banner ad.
Extended trailers for the new season can be found in a variety of places. The complete collection with the most easy access is at Freema Agyeman's fan site. Alasdair Stuart's review of the first episode of the new season of Torchwood, "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" is right here on Firefox News.
