NBC's Writer-less Late Night Hosts Face Big Challenges (article): The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and Late Night With Conan O'Brien will be coming back on the air starting Jan. 2nd. Both hosts admit that it will be incredibly difficult to work without writers and with many potential guests refusing to cross picket lines; nevertheless, they're determined to make sure that their staffs are earning paychecks.

SAG Backs WGA, Saying, "It's Time for the AMPTP to Return to the Table" (article): SAG president Alan Rosenberg has sent out a letter to the WGA, letting them know that the actors' guild supports them and will continue to do so until everyone gets their fair deal.
AMPTP's Open Letter Calls WGA's Tactics "Unreasonable" and "Impractical" (article): A reproduction of the AMPTP's press release posted last Monday. Has to be read to be believed.
Word Of The Day: Collusion (blog post): CBS has publicly disavowed itself from David Letterman's negotiations with the WGA. The network insists that it remains on the side of the AMPTP.
Friday's Announcement: Guild Will Bargain Individually With Companies (blog post): In an attempt to get negotiations moving, the WGA has announced its willingness to bargain with individual companies who are tired of the AMPTP's stonewalling.
