Starting on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 9:00 p.m., Fox will be re-airing the first season of Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles (T:tSCC). The finale in which there were some small explosions will be rerun on Sunday, Aug. 24.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Shirley Manson of Garbage will be joining the cast of the Sarah Connor Chronicles as the CEO of a technology giant. We'll have to wait to see if she'll fall into the Evil Empire or Do-No-Evil variety of CEO. My guess would be the wolf in earthy sheep's clothing variety. Then again, they parse out this kind of information over the summer to get fans excited and talking.

Terminator 4 aiming for PG-13 Rating

According to Variety, Terminator 4 will be aiming for a PG-13 rating for its May 22, 2009 release. This might worry me if I weren't already addicted to the T.V. show, 9:00 prime time has got to be somewhere between PG and PG-13. Also, I fairly surprised to realize how deftly Iron Man (also PG-13) handled the overall violence without actually toning anything down.

The scoop from the Ausiello Report on t.v. guide.com is that Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles (T:tSCC) are hiring directors for the show's sophomore year. Fox continues to maintain that there are no plans to renew the show for a second season, however, this is a very good sign.
