I truly enjoyed "The Ex-Files," and I loved that they actually utilized their namesake, Gossip Girl. I know she narrates the whole shebang (and it was, as ever, delightfully debauched), but sometimes it doesn't feel like she's an actual part of the story. This episode she was sending everyone's phones a'ringing in synchronized sweeps of ill-gotten gossip. And oh what gossip there was to be had...

"The Dark Night" ties up a lot of loose ends, but makes others fray unbecomingly. Gossip Girl is, as one might expect, completely tickled about it all. And for the first time, we get a real idea of what it would be like for she of wicked wide web fame to publicize your every move …

“Never Been Marcused” grabbed me, slapped me around a bit, and made me apologize profusely for all my criticism of last week’s Gossip Girl. If I have to put up with episodes like “Summer Kind of Wonderful” to get one like “Never Been Marcused,” I am totally game...

Review - Greek: Crush Landing

Well, I wasn't really wild about any aspect of "Crush Landing" at all. Where the hell was Calvin? Why was Evan in a total of five minutes of the entire episode? Would Ashleigh and Casey ever fight over a guy? Was that really supposed to be Cappie? And since when did Rusty have doubts about his chosen major? Many of the conflicts at the forefront of the episode seemed contrived, pushing the semi-interesting plot developments into the background. All in all, a very jumbled episode of ABC Family's Greek...

Despite the fresh locale and the ever snappy voiceover of Gossip Girl, I couldn't help but think most of the characters were up to their same, stale tricks. Last year it was new and interesting, this year if they don't get some new storylines quickly, I'm going to get a headache from the amount of times I'm rolling my eyes...

So, how does this episode stack up? Well, let’s just say it didn’t exactly lay low and ride out the storm, if you know what I mean. Brothers & Sisters was everything a good Greek episode should be: fun, quirky, and heartfelt ...

Let's have a little confab, just you and me. A tête-à-tête, if you will. Last season on Gossip Girl, there was a lot to keep track of. Acquaintances became enemies, enemies became allies, friends became lovers, and a few lovers parted ways (for good?), and all the while our not-so-friendly, neighborhood Gossip Girl gave us the dirty deets, the hot hush sounds of the Upper East Side... (Spoilers for season two, episode one within.)

The season 2 premiere of ABC Family's Greek is fast approaching (Tuesday, August 26 at 9/8c), and since you may not be hip to what's so hop, er... hot about this show, I thought I'd fill you in. Greek's ratings have been strong, but with a show I think was custom made for fanthings everywhere, I'm surprised I haven't heard a bigger buzz around my fandom haunts...
